Dubourg, Paris; sold to Galerie Paul Vallotton, Lausanne through R. Archibald as agent in 1952 [stock no. 4428, according to letter from Marina Ducrey of Vallotton, September 1, 1998, in curatorial files; Ducrey explains both Dubourg and Archibald may have been intermediaries]; sold to the Art Institute, 1958.
