Rousso, Paris [according to a letter from William Hobson Green dated January 24, 1977(for 1978) in curatorial file; stated that he had acquired the picture from Rousso “several years ago”]; sold to William Hobson Green, River Forest, Illinois; given to the Art Institute, 1978.
