Richard Feigen Gallery, Chicago, by 1962 [Chicago 1962]. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Weinstein, Chicago, 1962-1972 [letter mentioned above]. Sold by Richard Feigen Gallery, Chicago, to Harold Joachim, Chicago [Joachim purchased the drawing on behalf of the staff of the Art Institute, according to a letter from Charles Cunningham to Terry Dreyfus of July 23, 1976 in the curatorial file]; given by the staff of the Art Institute to Charles C. Cunningham, 1972 [Cunningham letter mentioned above]; bequeathed to the Art Institute, 1980.
