NFC Tags for Artists

A tag on your artwork that reports back to you.

Every time someone scans the NFC tag on your work — in a gallery, a collector's home, or on a city street — you get a signal. Your work is alive. Someone is looking.

What happens when someone scans your tag

A collector is showing their home to a guest. The guest pauses in front of your painting and notices the small NFC disc on the frame. They hold their phone near it. In two seconds, your artwork's full story opens on their screen — your name, the year you made it, your statement about the work, your bio. Your voice, delivered directly to someone who is standing in front of your art. And in your dashboard, a scan event is logged. You know it happened.

Placement & Ordering

Where to put your tag. How to order.

Placement guidance

Affix to any non-metallic surface on or near the artwork — the back of a canvas, a sculpture base, a frame edge, or an accompanying label. For metal artworks, place the tag on an adjacent placard or label. Test the position before permanently adhering — scan from where a viewer would naturally stand. NTAG213 tags are UV and moisture resistant — suitable for outdoor and indoor installations.

Simple. Fast. Pre-programmed.

Order tags directly from your Art Trackers dashboard. Each tag is pre-programmed with your artwork's AT-ID link. Ships ready to affix. No IT setup. No programming. $15.99 per tag, pre-programmed and shipped.
