    Queen Christina of Sweden (1626-1689) [Mahoney 1965]; bequeathed to Cardinal Decio Azzolini (1623-1689); by descent to Marchese Pompeo Azzolini; sold to Prince Livio Odescalchi, Duke of Ceri (died 1713), c. 1690; by descent, until 1976; sold, Christie’s, London, July 6, 1976, lot 53; to Somerville and Simpson, London, for Dorothy Braude Edinburg; given to the the Art Institute, 1998.
