About This Work
Three sculptures referencing the Liberty Bell and the Japanese art of Kintsugi, exploring liberty, imperfection, and repair through community-engaged design. Silhouettes were created in collaboration with youth at Alder Academy.
About the Artist
Born in Hong Kong, Law moved to the United States at age 16 and is based in Portland, OR. He is an interdisciplinary artist and educator whose public art commissions include the City of Tacoma, Housing Authority of Portland, Seattle Public Utilities, and Portland Parks & Recreation.
