    My work explores the intersection of cultural identity and public space. Through ceramic mosaic and mixed media, I create site-specific installations that invite communities to see themselves reflected in the built environment.

    Elena Paul is a Russian-American artist based in Seattle, Washington. Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, she immigrated to the United States in 1998 and studied Fine Arts at the University of Washington. Her practice spans large-scale public murals, ceramic mosaics, and community-based art projects. She has completed over 20 public art commissions across the Pacific Northwest, with works in Seattle, Portland, and Tacoma. Her installations are known for their vibrant use of color and their ability to reflect the cultural diversity of their surrounding communities. Elena has received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Seattle Office of Arts & Culture, and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation.
